FIRST COMMISSIONING
Before the first use:
Unpack the device, check for completeness, and set it up (see device setup). Clean the device (see cleaning).
Connect the cleaned coffee machine (see device connection) to a 230 V power outlet.
Operate the device with water only before the first use to flush out any contaminants from the boiler.
Only remove the coffee after the brewing process is completed.
Please note that during the initial operation, approximately 0.3 L of water will remain in the device, as the boiler stays
filled.
OPERATION - SETTINGS
Installation
1.
Place the machine on a stable, level surface.
2.
Slide the filter holder into position.
3.
Pour cold water (not exceeding 1.8 liters) into the water tank. Wait for 1 minute until the water expels air from the
machine.
4.
Position an empty carafe under the filter holder.
5.
Press the power switch, and the indicator light illuminates.
6.
Hot water now flows into the carafe.
7.
The indicator light goes out after 5-6 minutes. The brewing process is complete.
8.
Before making coffee, repeat the above process 2–3 times to thoroughly clean the machine's internal parts.
9.
It is normal to hear a hissing sound or see steam during the process.
Operation:
1.
Place the filter paper in the filter holder and add the appropriate amount of coffee (according to taste) on the filter
paper. The recommended coffee quantity is 75 g – 90 g for 1.6 liters – 1.8 liters of water.
2.
Slide the filter holder into position.
3.
Add 1600 to 1800 ml of water to the water reservoir.
4.
Position the empty glass carafe under the filter holder.
5.
Turn on the device; the indicator light illuminates. The brewing process begins.
6.
Coffe flows into the glass carafe.
7.
When the indicator light goes out, the brewing process is complete.
8.
The coffee can now be served.
9.
The coffee machine has an overflow pipe in case the water volume in the reservoir exceeds the 2.3-liter mark. Nevertheless, we
recommend ensuring that the maximum water amount does not exceed 1.8 liters to avoid overflowing the glass carafe.
If the coffee machine is not used for an extended period, please repeat steps 1-8 under the Installation section.
Attention: Do not store the device in low temperatures, as water remains in the boiler!
CLEANING
Ensure that the device is no longer connected to the power and has cooled down. Wipe the outer and inner surfaces with a
damp, soft cloth. A mild detergent can be used. Wipe again without any cleaning additives, then dry thoroughly. Do not use
sharp, bleaching, corrosive, or scratching cleaning agents/aids, as they could damage/scratch the surfaces.
As some water always remains in the hoses and the boiler of the machine, before storing the coffee machine, ensure to remove
the remaining water from the machine.
Regularly descale the device. Follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding the descaler.
