Procedure in case of faults:
Rectify minor faults and carry out the relevant step in the test
again.
If the test cannot be continued owing to a serious fault, this must
be rectified and the complete test repeated.
Functional test
Before beginning the functional test, check that the mains voltage is cor-
rect and record this in the report.
Preparation for the test
Risk of eye damage due to UV radiation!
Wear UV protective goggles during the test.
Functional test with external time switching (if any)
– Start the device via the token equipment.
– Press the
key on the operating panel of the tanning device and
check whether the UV lamps go off and come on again if the key is
pressed once more.
– Use the fan key on the operating panel of the tanning device to run
through the body cooling stages (stage 1, stage 2, off).
– When the device has been running for at least 1 minute: Switch off
the facial tanner. Switch the facial tanner on again after waiting for
