Acceptance testing
High voltage test of the basic insulation in accordance with
EN 60335-1/IEC 60335-1
Mortal danger!
The test must only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
For carrying out the high voltage test, the K1 earthing must be
activated with a suitable device! If there are earthing faults, there
may then be high voltages on the device. Consequently, only
the examiner may check the device during the test.
The test must comply with national regulations.
Adjusting the test appliance

≥ 10 sec
Carrying out the test
– Confirm that apart from you no one else stays near the device.
– Operate the K1 earthing with a suitable device.
– Check L1, L2, L3 and N for equipotential.
– After the test, remove the protective lock on K1.
Note:
Procedure in case of faults:
Rectify minor faults and carry out the relevant step in the test
again.
If the test cannot be continued owing to a serious fault, this must
be rectified and the complete test repeated. To rectify faults,
also consult the wiring diagrams "Ambition 250 SP EU (D)" TN
834453 and "XS-35 KISS SP EU (D)" TN 842724.
Earthing test in accordance with EN 60335-1/IEC 60335-1
For the earthing test, the resistance must not be greater than 0.1 Ω.

Carrying out the test
– Hold the probe in each case on the test point and press the start but-
ton on the test probe.
