Acceptance testing
Acceptance testing
After installing the device, an acceptance test, with the individual tests
listed here must be carried out before handover and start-up. The result
of the individual tests must be noted in the test report (see page 59/61)
and sent to the contracting partner.
Caution!
• The device may only be handed over and used if all test
headings are completed successfully during the acceptance
test.
• If the acceptance test is not carried out correctly, recorded
and the result notified to the contracting partners, the opera-
tor of the device shall lose all rights to claim under the man-
ufacturer's warranty.
Procedure and Responsibility
The examiner must have the necessary technical knowledge for the per-
formance of an acceptance test. The examiner must be sure before start-
ing the test of the perfect functioning of the test and measuring
equipment used.
– Enter the serial numbers of the test and measuring equipment used
in the test report.
– Enter the dates until which the calibration of the individual items of
test and measuring equipment are valid in the test report.
– Connect the ESD strap for all work on and with printed circuit boards.
Preparation and visual examination of the specimen
Device documents
The device data given in the device documents must correspond to the
specimen.
Part numbers (abbreviated in German as TN) for the following device
components must correspond with the part numbers in the test report.
Appliance components part numbers are recorded on the labels on the
device (see diagram):

B Base
C Component board canopy
D Component board base
E Fan for body cooling
