Safety information
• This hair clipper is intended solely for professional
use.
• The appliance may not be opened.
• Never attempt to remove dust or dirt with the help
of pointed objects, such as needles or comb tips, from
the hair clipper's interior.
• The mains adapter may only be connected to al-
ternating currents. Please check whether the mains
voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the
mains adapter's type plate.
• Do not immerse the clipper, mains adapter or con-
necting cable in water and do not rinse under run-
ning water.
• No fluids may be allowed to get inside the clipper.
• Do not use this clipper in proximity to
bathtubs, showers, wash basins or
other vessels containing water and do
not use it when your hands are wet.
• Should the clipper have fallen into water, discon-
nect it from the mains before taking it out. The clip-
per may never be used again if it has fallen into water.
• When the clipper is used in bathrooms, you should
always disconnect it from the mains after use as
proximity to water constitutes a risk even when the
clipper is switched off.
• Additional protection may be provided through the
installation of a fault-current safety feature with a
breaking current of less than 30 mA in the buildings'

systems. We recommend that you have an electri-
cian protect the power circuits with an FI protective
circuit.
Never take the appliance into operation when
– the clipper, the mains plug or the power cable has
been damaged.
– the clipper has been dropped, there is visible da-
mage to the cutting head or its functioning is restric-
ted as otherwise it may damage the skin.
– the clipper has been damaged to such an extent
that electrical components are exposed.
– liquid or foreign bodies have penetrated the clip-
per.
Always immediately disconnect from the mains and
inform the technical customer services.
• Please check whether the mains voltage corres-
ponds to the voltage indicated on the mains adap-
ter's type plate.
• This clipper is not intended for use by people (in-
cluding children) with limited physical, sensory or
mental capacities and is not intended for use by such
persons who do not possess the required experience
and knowledge – unless they are being accordingly
supervised or instructed in the use of the clipper by a
person who is responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the clipper.
• Also keep packaging materials, e.g. films, away
from children.
• Protect the power cable from damage; never pull
on the power cable. Take hold of the mains adapter
when you pull it from the plug socket. Keep the cable
and the clipper away from hot surfaces. Regularly
check the power cable for damage. The insulation
may not be damaged or crushed. Never wind the
cable around the clipper.
• Repairs may only be carried out by authorised cus-
tomer services to prevent any risks.
• The clipper's power cable must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its customer services or similarly
qualified persons when it has become damaged to
prevent risks.
• Do not expose the clipper to extreme temperatures
for extended periods of time (below 0°C / over 40°C).
• Do not touch the blade when the hair clipper is
switched on.
• Disconnect the hair clipper from the mains before
cleaning it.
• Only attach or remove the supplied comb attach-
ments when the clipper is switched off. The use of
comb attachments other than those supplied may
impair the clipper's functioning or even damage it.
• Only use the appropriate EFALOCK charging station
to charge the hair clipper.
