2 Resetting to the factory settings
Section 9.2.b of the operation instructions describes how to reset the master code to the
factory settings if the master code is unknown.
Problem
The described procedure to reset the master code fails.
Solution
Follow the below alternative procedure to reset the master code to the factory settings:
1. Prepare a small metal clip or small screwdriver.
2. Disconnect the code lock from the voltage/power supply.
3. Wait until all LEDs are off.
4. Remove the transparent glue from the pins on the back of the touch code lock. See figure
1.
5. Reconnect the code lock to the voltage/power supply.

The control LED will flash red for 5 seconds.
6. While the control LED is flashing red, press and hold the button # and shortcut pins No.1
and No 2. for 5 sec. using the metal clip or the small screwdriver.

A short sound signal is emitted.
à
The master code is reset to 1234.
à
You have reset the master code to the factory settings.

The master code is 1234.
