ASSEMBLY OF YOUR AUTOADJUST CPAP
NOTE—Refer to Important Parts for part identification.
1. Place the AutoAdjust CPAP on a stable surface.
NOTE—Ensure that the unit is away from heating vents, radiators, drapes and bedspreads so that the air intake
is not restricted.
2. Plug the power cord into the connector on the back of the unit Figure 2.
3. Plug the other end of the cord into the wall outlet.
4. Prepare your mask for use, in accordance with the mask instruction guide.
5. Connect one end of the air tubing to the mask and the other end to the outlet port of the AutoAdjust
CPAP Figure 5.
NOTE—Some tubing is prone to kinking, which can prevent flow from reaching the mask. Use only 6' 22 mm
diameter, smooth-bore, kink-resistant tubing.
6. If you are using a 9100 series DeVilbiss humidifier, assemble the system in accordance with the instructions
provided with the DeVilbiss humidifier. Press Select button on Keypad until you get to 9100 Humidifier display.
Use Up or Down arrow buttons to change setting to Attached Figure 6. If you are unable to change your setting,
please contact your healthcare provider.
NOTE—Only the DeVilbiss 9100D humidifier and 9200 series heaters are compatible for use with the 9054 series
DeVilbiss AutoAdjust CPAP. Other humidifier systems may prevent the AutoAdjust from detecting snoring.
Optional Oximeter
7. If you are using an oximeter, please refer to the assembly instructions that came with the oximeter.
NORMAL OPERATION OF YOUR AUTOADJUST CPAP

automatically start after you have taken a few breaths with the mask on. At this time you may see one of four
settings on the display:
