LOUDNESS button
The unit js provided with variable bass (7) and treble (8)
controls, common
to both channels, which act over a large
range.
With the tone control in center
position (fixed in posi-
tion) the frequency response is linear. Please note that when
either bass and/or treble is boosted to maximum at extremely
high volumes the speakers may be damaged even if you have
selected
speakers with a high power handling capacity. This
may occur since boosting bass or treble nearly means boosting
the level at this range.
BALANCE
Using the rotary switch BALANCE (9) the volume ratio bet-
ween both
channels may
be controlled.
Using this control
you may compensate
for varying channel
modulation or un
balanced speaker locations. When the balance control is rota-
ted away from the center position (may be fixed in center
position) the volume will drop on one channel).
