Einstellen der horizontalen
Tonarmbalance
Zum Ausbalancieren des Tonarmes wird der
Tonarm von der Stiitze genommen und zwi-
schen Stiitze und Plattenteller gehaiten.
Tonarmilift (5) nach unten WW. und Antiskating-
regier (4) auf ,O* stellen.
Die Nadelschutzhaube entfernen.
Das Gegengewicht wird nun soweit nach
rechts oder links gedreht, bis der Tonarm frei
schwebt. In schwebender Position soll sich
die Nadel etwa auf Hohe der Platte befinden.
Nun stellen Sie den Auflagekraftanzeigering
am Gegengewicht auf ,0* (Abb. (6) ).
Die korrekte Balance ist erreicht, wenn sich der
Tonarm nach Antippen in vertikaler Richtung
von selbst wieder in horizontale Schwebungs-
mitte einpendelt. -
Auflagekraft und Antiskatingkraft _
- Nachdem der Tonarm ausbalanciert ist, wird mit
dem Gegengewicht (3) die Auflagekraft ein-
gestelit.
Jedes Tonabnehmersystem erfordert eine
bestimmte Auflagekraft, bei der optimale
Wiedergabe erzielt wird. Die Héhe der Auf-
lagekraft entnehmen Sie bitte den technischen
Daten des betreffenden Tonabnehmersystems.
Bei dem hier eingebauten System wird die
Auflagekraft je nach Typ und Anwendungsfa!!
zwischen 1,5 und 2,5 p eingestellt.
Durch die Antiskatingkraft-Einstellung (4) wird
der Kraft, welche die Nadel bei den Umdre-
hungen nach innen zieht, entgegengewirkt.
Stelien Sie die Antiskatingkraft auf den Wert,
auf den Sie die Auflagekraft eingestellt haben
_ (z.B. Auflagekraft = 2p —- Antiskatingkraft
= 2p).
Werden Schallplatten mit Flissigkeit benetzt
abgespielt, empfehlen wir, die Antiskatingkraft
um 10 % geringer einzustellen. — a
Hinweis: Diese Einstellung der Antiskatingkraft
ist vorgesehen fiir die meisten kugelartigen
Nadein. Fir langlich runde Nadeltypen ist die
Einsteilung um 1,2 bis 1,4 mal gr6Ber empfeh-
lenswert. F
Adjustment of the tone-arm
horizontal balance
To balance the tone-arm, it is taken off its rest
and held between the rest and the turntable.
' Set the fone-arm lift (5) downwards ~ and
set the anti-stating control to "0".
Remove the stylus protection cover.
The counter weight is now turned either right
or left until the tone-arm is balanced and
oscillates gently in the horizontal position with
the stylus at about the height of the turntable.
Holding the counterweight firmly, set the
tracking force indicator ring to "O" (fig. ()).
The correct balance is achieved when the
tone-arm, after tipping in the vertical direction,
returns to the balanced position.
Tracking force and anti-skating force
After the tone-arm is balanced, the tracking
force is set by turning the counterweight (3).
Each pick-up system requires a defined
tracking force which will give optimum repro-
duction. The value of the tracking force must
be taken from the technical data of the manu-
facturer for the pick-up system in question.
With the system built into this record player,
the tracking force must be set, dependent on
type and employment, between 1,5 and 2,5 p.
Through the anti-skating adjustment (4), the force
with which the stylus is moved inwards by the
- rotation of the record is counteracted. The
anti-skating force must be set to the same value
as the tracking force (i. e. tracking force = 2p
— anti-skating force = 2 p).
With records that are played moist we recom-
mend that the anti-skating force be reduced
by 10 %.
Note: This adjustment of anti-skating force
is suitable for most spherical stylus types.
For longer round stylus types the adjustment ©
recommended is 1,2 to 1,4 times greater.
