4. OPERATING THE HANDBIKE BATEC HIBRID / USER

4.1. DELIVERY

Your new HANDBIKE BATEC HIBRID will be delivered in a cardboard
box. In order to prevent damage during transport, parts that must be
assembled later, like the battery, are packaged separately inside the
cardboard box.

4.2. UNPACKING

• Check that the outside of the cardboard box hasn't been damaged in
any way during transport.
• Remove all of the packing materials.
• Remove the parts of the HANDBIKE BATEC HIBRID (including the bat-
tery and charger) from the cardboard box and check that they are all
there.
• Check that all the parts are in proper conditions, without any sort of
damage, scratches, tears, dents, irregularities or other defects.
• If you find any problems, or if any pieces are missing, notify the au-
thorised distributor immediately.

4.3. ELEVATION, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

The HANDBIKE BATEC HIBRID has been designed so that users can
easily remove and detach the battery on their own.
• When taking the HANDBIKE BATEC HIBRID on any means of trans-
port (car, bus, train, plane, etc.), we recommend removing the battery
before your journey: turn the battery key to OPEN, remove the key
and then remove the battery.
