Assembly
Pressure transmitters of the HPT 1000 / 1000S series can be fitted directly to the hydraulic
system via the threaded connection. The operating manual offers details for this.
For mechanical decoupling in the case of strong vibrations or knocks, the pres-sure
transmitter should be mounted by means of a clamp with rubber insert and the hydraulic
connection should be made via a Minimess hose.
The recommended mounting position is
- vertical with the pressure connection pointing upwards in hydraulic applications
- vertical with the pressure connection pointing downwards in pneumatic applications
Only the measurands and signals specified in the technical data may be fed into the
mechanical and electrical connections.
Pin assignment
The electrical connection have to be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with
the respective national regulations (VDE 0100 in Germany).

Communication & parameterization
For the commissioning of the sensor an electronic device description file is necessary, known
as "IODD" (IO Device Description).

 Parameterization with IO-Link Master
Via the IO-Link interface, the pressure sensor can be parameterized with any IO-Link-capable
master configuration tool (in accordance with IO-Link specification V1.1).
 Communication & parameterization with HYDAC programming adapter ZBE P1-000
(Connection via standard cable)
