The device can be turned on by the main switch placed at the bottom, on
the right side of the coverage.
The device can be controlled by the infra-sensor placed on the top of the
coverage.
When you hold your hand above the upper sensor between 1 – 8 cm the
device gives an acoustic signal. The paper-clamping equipment, which is
built in the seat, pinches one sterile contact-paper. The equipment turns
down the seat with the clamped paper into horizontal position, and lays
the paper onto the seat, covering its surface in the most optimal way.
During the use of the toilet (provided the person sits on the toilet seat)
the sensor placed in the middle of the coverage of the device, senses the
back of the user (the range of the sense is 10 cm).
When the user stands up from the seat, the device notices this and after 6
seconds releases the paper. The seat remains in horizontal position.
If the user flushes, the sterile contact-paper is discarded with the flush-
water. The discard of the paper is sensed by the infra-sensor, which is
built in the seat, and after about 3 seconds it turns the seat back into its
normal position.
If the user does not flush, the device senses this, and after 15 seconds
gives a warning: 'Please flush', and repeats this three times every 10
seconds afterwards. The seat will not move until the toilet is flushed. If
the user flushes, the sterile contact-paper is discarded with the flush-
water. The discard of the paper is sensed by the infra-sensor, which is
built in the seat, and after about 3 seconds it turns the seat back into its
normal position.
If something prevents the seat from moving up/down, the electronics of
the device shuts down, and the seat remains in the position in which it
was blocked. The device can be restarted by the infra-sensor placed on
the top of the coverage. The device turns the seat back into its normal
position.
Before reloading the paper, you must remove the harder lock-plate of the
old paper. The sheets of the specially formed paper must be slid into the
slot on the coverage, and the two holes on the package of the paper must
be pulled over the two raised paper-holder pegs on the device. The paper
must not be crumpled or wet.
