Connecting to mains

The plug of the power-supply unit, which you can find in the packaging of
the device, should be connected into the socket located at the bottom of
the device on the right. The device can be connected to the mains by the
service mains cable of the power-supply unit. The power point (electrical
socket) must be a standardized circuit connector. The connection of the
device to the mains must be done accordant to the current standards and
regulations.

Safety regulations

The equipment must be installed in conformity with the 57100701 part of
the German Industrial Norms, zone 3, 'Protective regulations of baths
and showers', as well as, it must meet the related requirements of
European directives.
- The allowable burden of the Hygo Magic: 3 Nm mobile-load, as
regards the moving of the seat. A clutch-system protects the device
from excessive burden. This applies to both upwards or downwards
movement of the seat.
- The sensors and the paper-clamping equipment must not be
exposed to the effect of running water.
- The end-stages of the seat are protected by timed shut down
intercalated into the electronics.
