Safety Check at Servicing
1. Make repairs carefully!
1) When replacing the parts, be sure to use the specified
ones.
(Fuse,
power
cord,
high
tension
circuit
components, power circuit components, internal wiring
leads).
2) At servicing, also check for parts location, spacing,
wiring,
soldering
and
arrangement
of insulating
materials (tube, tape, PVC sheet etc.).
. Recheck the safety after repairs!
1) Make sure the receiver is free from contamination of
dust, solder chips, waste wire, etc.
2) Check for the insulation by using a tester, etc. (Between
terminals of AC plug; between the antenna terminal
plate and exposed metallic parts).
3) Make sure the tuner cover, high tension box case, rear
lid, bottom lid, etc. have been properly set in place. Let
the users
have
a proper knowledge
to operate the
receiver.
TV SECTION
+B Supply Adjustment
:
l. Connect a power cord to a wall outlet (220V, 50 Hz).
2. Set the mode switch at "TV, RADIO" position and the
band selector, at "TV" position, then the TV gets ready for
operation.
. Operate the set so that it peetiees a normal picture and
sound, and then rotate the +B adjust control (R907) until
the output at the TP91 becomes 10.5 + 0.1V. Prior to this
adjustment, it is needed to set the volume control at
"MAX"
position
and the bass
and treble controls,
respectively at "Mechanical Cneter" position.
AGC
Control Adjustment
1.

control
- counterclockwise,
there occurs

Receive CCIR 5 ch signal and adjust the local oscillation
as specified.

Set input field intensity at 52 dB + 2 dB and adjust the IF
AGC control (R254) so that the detector output becomes
1.05 + 0.1Vp-p:
This output can be observed at the test
point TP12 by using an oscilloscope.
Set input field intensity at 52 dB + 0.5 dB and using a CR
oscillator (set at 50 mVp-p +10%), apply a sine-wave signal
of 1 kHz + 50 Hz to the test point TP202 of tuner AGC
via a resistor of 470 ohm and capacitor of 47uF.

. Rotate the RF AGC control, on the other hand, clockwise
until the ripple begins to drop sharply and stop it.
Sicherheitspriifung bei Wartungsarbeiten
1. Arbeiten sorgfaltig ausfiihren!
1) Beim Auswechseln von Teilen nur die vorgeschriebenen
verwenden.
(Sicherung,
Netzkabel,
Hochspannungs-
stromkreis-Bauteile,
Arbeitsstromkreis-Bauteile,
innere
Zuleitungen).
2) Bei Ausfiihrung von Wartungsarbeiten
auBerdem die
Lage der Teile, Abstande, Verdrahtung, Verlotung und
Anordnung
der Isoliermaterialien
(Rohren,
Bander,
PVC-Platten usw.) uberprtfen.

. Die Sicherheit nach Ausfuhrung von a

mals uberprufen!
1) Darauf achten, da der Empfanger nicht durch Staub,
Létspane, Drahtreste usw. verschmutzt ist.
2) Die Isolierung mit Hilfe eines Priifgerates usw. tiberprii-
fen (zwischen
den
Klemmen
des Netzkablefassung,
zwischen der Antennenklemmenplatte und freiliegenden
Metallteilen).
Darauf achten, da8 Tunerabdeckung, Hochspannungs-
gehduse, Riickwand, untere Platte usw. in richtiger Lage
angebracht wurden.
Den Verwendern ausreichende Kenntnisse tiber den Be-
trieb des. Empfangers beibringen.

FERNSEHTEIL
Einstellung der Netzspannung --B
1. Das Netzkabel an eine Netzsteckdose (220V/50 Hz) an-
schlieBen.
. Den Betriebsart-Wahlschalter auf 3LV, RADIO" und den
Wellenbereichsschalter auf ,,TV' stellen; der Fernseher ist
betriebsbereit.
. Das Bild und den Ton wie gewohnlich einstellen. Den Ein-
stellregler +B (R907) dann drehen, bis die Ausgangs-
spannung am TP91 10,5 + 0,1V betragt. Den Lautstarke-
regler in die ,,MAX"- Position und den Ba®- und Hohenre-_
gler in die Raststellung vor diesem Abgleich stellen.
Einstellung der automatischen Verstarkungsregelung (AGC)
_
1. Den AGC-HF-Regler (R253) ganz nach rechts drehen, so
daB der Widerstand am grdften ist.
. Ein CCIRIFinfkanalsignal empfangen und die Uberlage-
rungsfrequenz wie angegeben einstellen.
Die Eingangsfeldstarke
auf 52 + 2 dB einstellen; Den
AGC-ZF-Regler pan so abgleichen, da der Demodula-
torausgang
1,05 + 0,1 Vss betragt:
Dieses Ausgangs-
signal kann am Mefpunkt TP12 mittels eines Oszilloskops
beobachtet werden.
. Die Eingangsfeldstarke auf 52 + 0,5 dB einstellen. Ein Si-
nussignal von 1 kHz + 50 Hz an den Me&punkt TP202 der
Tuner-AGC
mittels eines CR-Oszillators (Einstellung 50
mVss + 10%) anlegen. Einen 470 Ohm-Widerstand und ei-
nen 47 uF-Kondensator dafur verwenden.
. Wenn der AGC-HF-Regler (R253) gegen den Uhrzeiger-
'sinn gedreht wird, entsteht am Demodulatorausgang
ein
Brumm des Sinussignals:
Der Brumm kann mittels eines
Oszilloskops am Mian
