Re-adjust the adjacent sound trap (T202) to provide 40.4
MHz and re-check that the sound trap is not out of its
specified value.

. Adjust the cores of T101 (for the tuner side) and T201 (for
the PIF side) respectively so as to provide maximum
sensitivity as shown in Fig. 14. If the T101 and T201 alone
are insufficient for the adjustment, additionally use the
T202 and T203 for a fine adjustment.
Note:
If must be, however, noted that it is not allowed to make a
_ fine adjusstment by the T205.
With the maximum
sensitivity attained, check that there
develops nothing abnormal about the waveform.

Short of the IF AGC test point (TP14/TP201)of RF unit.
Set the contrast and brightness controls respectively at
"MAX"
position.
Using a signal generator, apply a signal of 5.5 MHz (set at
100 dB without modulation) to the test point TP12, through
a capacitor of 0.1 uF.
Connect
a 1:1
probe, via a capacitor, of SpE, to the
cathode terminal of CRT and check, using a synchroscope,
that waveform of the 5.5 MHz signal is 0.1Vp-p or less in
its amplitude. For the above adjustments, the requirements
are that:
the output impedance of a 5.5 MHz
signal
generator is less than 50 ohm; the input impedance of
synchroscope is more than 1 M ohm, its input capacitance,
less than 20pF and its allowable bandwidth, more than 10
MHz.

da eine Frequenz von 40,4 MHz entsteht; und noch ein-
mal sich vergewissern, ob der Tonsperrkreis mit dem ange-
gebenen Wert tbereinstimmt.
Die Kerne T101 (des Tuners) und T201 (der Bild- ZF) sO
einstellen, daB die gréRte Empfindlichkeit wie in Abb. 14
erhalten wird.
Falls T101 und T201 ftir diese Einstellung
nicht ausreichen, zusatzlich T202 und T203 fur die Feinein-
stellung benutzun.
Anmerkung:
Die Feineinstellung darf jedoch nicht mit dem T205 durch-
gefuhrt werden.
Nach dem Erhalten der eréBten Empfindlichkeit uberpru-
fen, ob nichts Ungewohnliches an der Wellenform auftritt..

MHz-Signals kleiner als 0,1Vss ist. Fir den obigen Ab-
gleich sind folgende Einstellungen notig: Die Ausgangsim-
pedanz des 5,5 MHz-Signalgenerators ist geringer als 50
Ohm, die Eingangsimpedanz des Synchroskops ist gréRer
als 1 MOhm,
seine Eingangskapazitat geringer als 20pF
und die Bandbreite groBer als 10 MHz.
