Start-up
WARNING

■ Observe the safety instructions in the respective sections for all
activities.
6.1 Mounting the lamp on a tripod
Always use the lamp on a standard lamp tripod with a 5/8" spigot.
1.
Set up the tripod properly (see its instructions for use).
2.
Loosen the fixing screw of the bracket (4) on the LED lamp and place the
bracket (4) on the spigot of the lamp tripod.
3.
Tighten the fixing screw of the bracket (4) again and make sure that it
grips the spigot at the narrowest point to prevent it from slipping off.
→ The circular hole in the bracket (4) allows the horizontal mounting of
the lamp.
4.
Check that the lamp is held on the stand and that the stand is secure.
6.2 Power supply via mains adapter
1.
Switch off the lamp so that you are not dazzled when switching it on.
To do this, move the on/off switch (8) to the position [0].
2.
Insert the plug of the power supply unit supplied into the socket (5)
at the back of the lamp.
3.
Connect the mains cable of the power supply unit to a protective
earthed socket of the local mains supply (AC 100-240V, 50/60 Hz,
see technical data).
NOTE - Only operate the lamp if the connected loads match the local
power supply.
4.
To switch on, move the on/off switch (8) to the [I] position.
