CAUTION
When
the batteries
become
worn
or when
a power
failure
occurs during playback or recording, the head is kept in the
upper
position
and
the
cassette
compartment
cannot
be
opened
by pressing the eject button. In this case, the tape
lock release knob which
is located below the cassette com-
partment
(Figure
19—1)
should
be pushed twice leftward.
Then the head is lowered and the cassette compartment can be
opened. However, there might be the case where the head will
not come down because of the conditions of mechanical gears.
In this case, replace the batteries with new ones.

VORSICHT
Bei Batteriesoannungsabnahem,
oder falls wahrend der Wie-
dergabe
oder
Aufnahme
ein
Stromausfall
auftritt,
bleibt
der Kopf in der oberen Stellung, und das Gassetenfach kann
durch
Driicken
der Auswurftaste
nicht gedffnet werden.
In
diesem
Falle
sollte der sich unterhalb
des Cassettenfaches
befindliche
Entriegelungsknopf
(Abbildung
19—1)
zweimal
nach
links
gedriickt
werden.
Der
Kopf
bewegt
sich dann
nach
unten,
und
das Cassettenfach
kann geoffnet werden.
Wegen
des Zustands der Laufwerkzahnrader
kann es jedoch
vorkommen,
da sich der Kopf nicht nach unten bewegt. In
diesem Falle die Batterien durch neue ersetzen.

PRECAUTION
Quand
|'énergie des piles sont faible ou quand le coupure. de
courant se produit au cours de la lecture ou de |'enregistre-
ment, la téte magnétique
reste en saillie et le compartiment
de cassette ne s''ouvre pas méme
en appuyant
sur le bouton
d' éjection. Dans ce cas,
pousser
deux fois vers la gauche le
bouton de blocage/libération qui se situe au-dessous du com-
partiment (Figure 19—1). La téte redescend alors et le com-
partiment s'ouvre a son tour. II arrive que la téte ne redescend
pas selon l'état des engrenages. Remplacer alors les piles.
