CONTINUOUS PLAYBACK CIRCUIT

Continuous playback means the function of starting automatic |
playback of Deck 2 (or Deck 1) immediately after plaback of
Deck 1 (or Deck 2) is finished.
|
When the continuous playback switch SW806 is pressed, the
input pin
of 1C801
(Deck 1) becomes
Low level and
IC801 gets on stand-by for the continuous playback operation.
At the same time, the output pin
becomes High level and
the continuous playback indicator (D838) lights up. Then the
input pin (6) of 1C802 (Deck 2) becomes High level, and 1C802
also gets on stand-by for the continuous playback. Then, Deck
1 is played back and, when the play is finished, the Deck 1 is
put into the AUTO
STOP mode. At the time, High pulse of
500msec. is made out from the output pin
of 1C801
which activates the transistor Q810, and the input pin
of
1C802 becomes Low level. Thus playback of Deck 2 is started.
Further, when playback of Deck 2 is finished at the end of the
tape and the Deck 2 is put into AUTO STOP mode, the output
pin Q? of 1C802 makes out Low pulse of 6Omsec., which is
transferred to pin
40) of 1C801 and cancells the continuous
palyback stand-by mode. This operation applies to the case in
which the reverse mode switch SW816-B is set at '' — " or
-
"' position. In case the reverse mode switch is set at
- a
Low pulse is transferred to pin (7) of 1C801 to play
Deck 1 again and then Deck 2 continuously. Thus playback is
repeated.
QUICK DUBBING
Quick dubbing means the function of dubbing (copy record-
ing) performed by a single switch operation, by which the tape
on Deck
1 is played back and simultaneously dubbed to the
tape on Deck 2.
When the normal speed dubbing switch SW815 is pressed, the
input pins
of both 1C801
and IC802 become Low level.
And the output pin 23) of 1C801 and the output pin 26) of
IC802 are held at Low level, and the dubbing is started while
- tape driving motor is driven at the normal speed. When the
high speed dubbing switch SW814 is pressed, the input pin
of IC801
and the input pin (9) of 1C802 become Low level.
Then, 570msec. later, the output pin @3) of |C801 and the
output pin 26) of 1C802 become High level. Thus the dubbing
is started after the speed of tape driving motor has doubled.
