ALIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
5 V DC Einstellung
1. Digitalvoltmeter an MeBpunkt A anschlieBen.
2. Mit VR505 auf 5.1 V DC ±0.02 V einstellen.
12 V DC Einstellung
1. Digitalvoltmeter an MeBpunkt B anschlieBen.
2. Mit VR504 auf 12.15 V DC ±0.02 V einstellen.
—5 V DC Einstellung
1. Digitalvoltmeter an MeBpunkt C anschlieBen.
2. Mit VR501 auf -5 V DC ±0.05 V einstellen.
—12 V DC Einstellung
1. Digitalvoltmeter an MeBpunkt D anschlieBen.
2. Mit VR502 auf -12 V DC ±0.05 V einstellen.
12 V DC Einstellung (Monitor)
1. Digitalvoltmeter an MeBpunkt E anschlieBen.
2. Mit Regler VR503 auf 12 V DC ±0.05 V einstellen.
12 V DC Schutzschaltung
1. SchlieBen Sie in Reihe zur +12 V DC-Leitung ein Amperemeter, sowie
einen Lastwiderstand mit ca. 35 Watt gegen Masse.
Dieser Widerstand muB so gewahlt sein, daB der Strom ca. 4.5 A-4.6
A betragt.
2. Mit Regler VR507 die Schutzschaltung so einstellen, daB sie bei dieser
Belastung noch nicht anspricht.
Bildlage-Elnstellung
1. Laden Sie die VDU-Testsoftware (F3) und starten Sie das Testbild
..Circle alignment test".
2. Drehen Sie die Ablenkspule bis das Testbild waagerecht ist. Befesti-
gen Sie die Ablenkspule.
3. Mit den Magnetringen am Bildrohrenhals die Bildlage und Mittenein-
stellung vornehmen. (siehe Abb. 1; B, D = 12 mm +3 mm)
DC 5 V ADJUSTMENT
1. Connect the hot of the Digital voltmeter to A, and the cold to ground.
(Refer to Fig. A)
2. Adjust the VR505 so that it indicates DC 5.10 V ±0.02 V.
DC 12 V ADJUSTMENT
1. Connect the hot of the Digital voltmeter to B, and the cold to ground.
(Refer to Fig. A)
2. Adjust the VR504 so that it indicates DC 12.15 V ±0.02 V.
DC -5 V ADJUSTMENT
1. Connect the hot of the Digital voltmeter to C, and the cold to ground.
(Refer to Fig. A)
2. Adjust the VR501 so that it indicates DC -5.00 V ±0.05 V.
DC -12 V ADJUSTMENT
1. Connect the hot of the Digital voltmeter to D, and the cold to ground.
(Refer to Fig. A)
2. Adjust the VR502 so that it indicates DC -12.00 V ±0.05 V.
DC 12 V MONITOR ADJUSTMENT
1. Connect the hot of the Digital voltmeter to E, and the cold to ground.
(Refer to Fig. A)
2. Adjust the VR503 so that it indicates DC 12.00 V ±0.05 V.
DC 12 V PROTECT ADJUSTMENT
1. Connect the amperemeter to 12 V LINE in series.
2. Adjust the VR507 so that it indicates 4.5 A.
CENTERING ADJUSTMENT
1. Insert the VDU TEST floppy disk into PC-1512 and make the Circle
Pattern appear on the screen.
2. Turn the DY coil to set the Circle Patern to horizontal position and fix it.
3. Adjust the centering magnet so that the Border Size become as shown
below...

B.D ... 12 mm ±3 mm
4. Adjust 4 pole magnet so that distortion on the screen will disappear and
fix it.
