Resetting the device
To restore the factory settings of the module:
1.
select it
2.
right-click on the description (a pop-up with 5 sub-menus will appear)
3.
select "Reset device" (an alert/confirm procedure request window appears)
Resetting call button programming
To delete the call address programming for the module buttons:
1.
select it
2.
right-click on the description (a pop-up with 5 sub-menus will appear)
3.
select "Reset Call Directory" (an alert/confirm procedure request window appears)
Updating device firmware
To update the module firmware:
1.
select it
2.
right-click on the description (a pop-up with 5 sub-menus will appear)
3.
select "Download firmware" or
4.
click
which appears on the menu bar
Notes
1.
If you need to update the module from a version preceding 1.1.1 to a version higher than 1.1.1, you must
ALWAYS move to version 1.1.1 FIRST and then update to the desired higher version.
2.
The update packages consist of 2 files.
Simplebus 2
1.
First install the file Us2x_UAPP_HW0x0002_vX.X.X.vpk (at the end of the update the LED with the bell
symbol will be lit steadily)
2.
Next, install the file Us2x_AUDI_HW0x0002_X.X.X.vpk
Both files must be used and installed in this order.
Simplebus 1
1.
First install the file Us1x_UAPP_HW0x0002_vX.X.X.vpk (at the end of the update the red LED with the
bell symbol will be lit steadily)
2.
Next, install the file Us1x_AUDI_HW0x0002_X.X.X.vpk
Both files must be used and installed in this order.
Restore backup
If the audio/video module is replaced, all programming is imported (only available if at least one additional
module is connected via flat cable). The procedure should be completed within one hour of removal of the old
module
To restore the module configuration:
1.
select it
2.
right-click on the description (a pop-up with 5 sub-menus will appear)
3.
select "Recovery backup"
