Note: The maximum amount of continuous hot water
supply is 250 ml, after which the process of its supply
stops automatically and the coffee machine goes into
the standby mode (pic. 8).
FUNCTIONALITY
Preheating of cups
To preserve the taste and aromatic properties of the
prepared drinks, it is recommended to heat the cups
before filling them. To do this, there is a special metal
cup (17) warming tray in the upper part of the coffee
machine (Fig. 21).
Grinding degree control
ATTENTION! The grinding degree should only be
adjusted while the coffee grinder is in operation. Failure
to do so may result in unit damage.
The coffee grinding degree (from 1 to 5) directly de-
pends on the roasting degree. Use coarse grinding
for heavily roasted coffee and finer grinding for lighter
roasted coffee.
The grinding degree control knob (14) is located inside
the coffee bean container (10) (fig. 22).
– If, when making coffee, coffee pours from the sup-
ply unit (2) very slowly (the grinding is too fine and
the taste of coffee is too strong), turn the grinding
degree control knob (14) clockwise to set the coffee
grinder to a coarser grinding.
– If, when making coffee, the coffee flow is very fast
and very light (the grinding is too coarse and the
taste of coffee is very weak), turn the grinding degree
control knob (14) counterclockwise to set the coffee
grinder to a finer grinding.
You will be able to evaluate the result of changing the
adjustment only after making 2-3 cups of coffee.
Preparing the milk supply system
– Insert the milk frother (30) into the coffee supply unit
(2) (Fig. 23), if it was not installed earlier, or check
that it is installed correctly (Fig. 23).
– Hold the coffee supply unit (2) and press the milk
frother (30) from below upwards on each side until it
clicks (fig. 23). Make sure that the milk frother (30) is
securely held by the locks in the coffee supply unit (2).
Note:
– The milk frother (30) has two inlets on the left and right
side for installing the tip of the milk tube. A tip is installed
in one hole, a plug in the other. For convenient use, you
can install the tip on the left or right, after removing the
plug (Fig. 23). After installing the tip, do not forget to
install the plug on the opposite side of the frother.
– Place one end of the tube with the tip into the inlet of
the frother (3), and lower the other end of the tube with
a cut into the milk container (pic. 24). If the milk tube
is not used, you can attach its free end to the tip lock.
If you do not drink coffee drinks with milk at all, you can
remove the tip with the milk tube from the frother (30)
and replace it with the plug (supplied with the unit).
Choosing milk
It is recommended to use non-boiled natural cow's or soy
milk, both whole and pasteurized or ultra-pasteurized. Ul-
tra-pasteurized milk froths better. Milk should be high in
protein. The protein content is preferably 3% or more. You
can use both skim milk and 6%. For cappuccino it is better
to use rich milk of 3% and above, for latte 1.5-2.5%. The
higher the fat content, the denser and sweeter the froth
in general and it lasts longer. Milk should be as cold as
possible, 2-6°C, that is from the refrigerator. This affects
the frothing. The warmer the initial milk, the worse it froths.
Frothed milk control
– The milk system control knob (15) is located on the left
side of the coffee machine, behind the door (5).
– For thick frothed milk, turn the knob (15) counterclock-
wise (fig. 25).
– For hot milk, turn the knob (15) clockwise (Fig. 25).
Adjusting the milk supply system
For best results, follow the recommendations for choosing
milk. The quality of the frothed milk depends on the qual-
ity and temperature of the milk. It is recommended to use
chilled whole milk. Before making latte, cappuccino, hot
milk or frothed milk, adjust the milk frother (30) according
to your preference. Open the left door (5) and you will see
the milk frother control knob (15) (Fig. 25).
– Pour clean milk into a suitable container of desired
capacity.
