Fixation
The SUEVIA Valve Trough Drinker Mod. 620 can be fixed either on vertical or horizontal tubes 1¼" – 2"
(42 – 60 mm), as well as on the wall. For mounting on vertical tubes the fastening angle (132.6202) must

removed. For tube fixation 2x SUEVIA Double Brackets (101.0179), are required.
Installation Height
Recommended installation height from the edge of trough
· for cattle: 60 - 70 cm / 23,7 - 27,6"

Water connection
By means of a lateral ¾" connection angle (not incluced) water connection can be done from the top or
bottom. For the connection of the water tube SUEVIA Boring Bracket (101.0535) is foreseen.
Pipe union is recommended. In case of risk of frost insulate water line and maintain frost-free by means of
a frost protection heating cable.

Attention!
Flush water line well before you connect Mod. 620! If dirty water (sand, suspended matters) is given,
SUEVIA preliminary filter (101.0487) must be installed before the trough drinker.
Consider the norm DIN 1988 / DIN EN 1717!
Water pressure
The valve is suited for high and low water pressure.

Minimum water pressure 0,5 bar, max. 5 bar. / Minimum water pressure 7,25 psi, max. 73 psi.
Water flow approx. 40 l/min. given 5 bar. / Water flow approx. 10,6 gal/min. given 73 psi.
Trough contents max. approx. 18 l / 4,75 gal.
Regulation of the valve Water Level Adjustment
Water level can be adjusted hight adjustment of the floater.
Height adjustment
Loose for this the hexagon nut (102.0621), adjust the floater at desired height and tighten the nut on again.
Take care of the following:
Float valve has to be placed that way that it is situated in a 90° angle to the valve lever (102.0393).
Cleaning
Stop water flow, open big drainage plug. Let water bleed. Close drainage plug, open water flow.
