Sensing Probe and Filter Cap
The wall mounted EE100Ex features a fixed mounted plastic (ABS / PC) probe. The material of the
remote probe is PC.
The probe shall be mounted horizontally or vertically with the probe tip pointing downwards, at a
representative location for the process. It may not be exposed to weather or direct sunlight.
In order to avoid condensation water getting along the cable to the sensing probe, a drip loop shall be
realized close to the probe.

Correct mounting position
For accurate measurement results it is of paramount importance to avoid temperature gradients along
the sensing probe. This is particularly important for the remote probe when installed into a wall.
Whenever possible, install the entire probe in the environment to monitor. If the probe is installed into a
wall, than isolate thermally the backend of the probe looking out of the wall.
