Temperature knob
- Turn the temperature knob clockwise until the maximum temperature is reached.
- Turn the temperature knob to the 0 position to switch the appliance off, and then unplug
the device.
Overheating safety device
- This appliance has a safety device that switches off the device in case of overheating.
If the safety device is activated, switch off the appliance, unplug it and allow it to cool
down completely. Inspect for any obstruction in the air inlet or outlet before attempting to
restart.
- If the appliance does not work, or the safety device switches it off again, take it to your
nearest service centre for examination or repair or contact the official Cecotec Service
Centre.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Maintenance
1. Always switch off the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before carrying out
any maintenance operations.
2. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean and remove dust from the air outlet.
3. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth and dry it with a dry cloth. Never
immerse the appliance in water or allow water to drip into the appliance.
Storage
1. Always switch off the appliance, allow it to cool down completely and clean it before
storing it.
2. If you are not going to use it for a long period of time, store the device and the instruction
manual in the original box, in a dry and ventilated place.
3. Do not place heavy objects on top of the box during storage, as it may damage the
appliance.
