| TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
The speakers hum when
the amplifier is connected
to the system.
The unit buzzes every time
it is turned ON or OFF.
The unit does not work
when the stage is switched
ON.
The amp is connected to a
speaker switch but it does
not work.
CAUSE
|
The unit is not correctly
coupled with the Ground
on DC.
|
The interconnect input
and/or output cables are
not shielded.
|
The AC Stage plug is
disconnected from the
wall power outlet.
|
The interconnect
cables are not properly
connected to the amp.
|
One of the fuses is blown.
|
The poles at ground
level are positive pole
of the Right channel and
negative pole of the Left
channel (Mono/Stereo).

SOLUTION
|
Ensure the system is well
grounded and check the
ground Pin on the power
cord plug.
|
Be sure to always use
shielded cables for the
amp connections.
|
Turn Off the amplifier as
first but turn it on as last
of the audio system unit.
|
Make sure it's connected
and that the wall outlet
works.
|
Make sure they are
properly connected and
working.
|
Substitute the fuse with
one of the same value (5A
T 5x20mm).
|
Ensure that the
connection between the
amp, the switch and the
loudspeakers is correctly
grounded.
