Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um eine Orthese zur Ruhigstellung
des Daumengrund- und Daumensattelgelenks.
Indikationen
DE: Postoperativ, posttraumatisch, degenerativ, entzündlich, wie z. B. bei
Arthritis, ulnare/radiale Bandverletzung des Daumens, Spätstadium nach
Sehnenrekonstruktion, Rhizarthrose.
AT: Bandinstabilität im Daumengrundgelenk, Bewegungsschmerzen bei
Arthrose im Daumengrundgelenk.
Kontraindikationen
Periphere arterielle Verschlusskrankheit (PAVK), Lymphabflussstörungen
auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen körperfern des angelegten Hilfsmittels,
Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen der versorgten Körperregion,
Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten Körperabschnitt.
Anwendungsrisiken / Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Medizinprodukt ist ein verordnungsfähiges Produkt. Sprechen Sie
Anwendung und Dauer mit Ihrem verordnenden Arzt ab. Die Auswahl der
geeigneten Größe und eine Einweisung erfolgt durch das Fachpersonal, von
dem Sie das Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– Medizinprodukt vor radiologischen Untersuchungen ablegen
– bei längeren Ruhephasen nicht zu fest verschließen z. B. beim Schlafen
– bei Taubheitsgefühl Medizinprodukt lockern oder ggf. abnehmen
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden den Arzt oder Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen
– gleichzeitige Nutzung anderer Produkte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt
– keine Änderungen am Produkt vornehmen
– nicht auf offenen Wunden tragen
– nicht verwenden bei Unverträglichkeiten gegen eines der verwendeten
Materialien
– kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung von nur einem
Patienten bestimmt
– während der Tragedauer der Orthese: keine lokale Anwendung von Cremes
oder Salben im Bereich des angelegten Hilfsmittels – kann Material zerstören
Anziehanleitung
Zum Anlegen streifen Sie die Orthese über das Handgelenk und positionieren
Sie den Daumen im Daumenrohr. Schließen Sie nun den zirkulären Verschluss
am Daumen, anschließend den breiten Verschluss am Handgelenk. Mittels
des Klettverschlusses kann die Festigkeit stufenlos eingestellt werden.
Ablegen
Zum Ablegen der Bandage, bitte die zirkulären Gurte öffnen und die
Daumenorthese abstreifen.

Intended purpose
This medical device is a brace for immobilisation of the metacarpophalangeal
joint and saddle joint of the thumb.
Indications
Post-operative, post-traumatic conditions, degenerative, inflammatory
conditions, i.e. in case of arthritis, ulnar/radial lesion of thumb ligaments, late
stage following tendon reconstruction, rhizarthrosis.
Contraindications
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymph drainage disorders,
also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the aid positioned, sensory and
circulatory disorders with the region of the body treated, skin diseases in the
part of the body treated.
Application risks/Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use and duration
with your treating physician. The expert staff from whom you have received the
medical device will select the appropriate size and instruct you regarding its use.
– remove the medical device prior to radiological examinations
– do not close it too tightly during longer periods of rest, e.g. when sleeping
– in case of numbness, loosen the medical device and remove it if necessary
– in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your physician
– do not make any changes to the product
– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– no re-use. This medical aid is intended for treating one patient only
– whilst wearing the brace, please neither use any creams nor ointments on
or around it as they can destroy the material
Fitting instructions
For fitting, slip the brace over the wrist and position the thumb in the thumb
tube. Now close the circumferential fastener on the thumb, then the wide
fastener on the wrist. The Velcro fastener enables stepless setting of the
tightness.
Removal
To remove the support, please open the circumferential straps and slip the
thumb brace off.

Utilisation prévue

lymphatique y compris tuméfaction des tissus mous d'origine inconnue de
l'aide posée, troubles de sensation et de la circulation sanguine des régions
corporelles traitées, maladies cutanées sur les zones traitées.
Risques inhérents à l'utilisation/Remarques importantes
Ce dispositif médical est un produit prescrit sur ordonnance. Consultez votre
médecin prescripteur pour en connaître l'utilisation et la durée de port. Le
choix de la taille ainsi qu'une présentation du produit seront réalisés par le
personnel spécialisé qui vous fournira ce dispositif médical.

– ne pas réutiliser. Ce dispositif est conçu pour le soin d'un seul patient
– pendant le port de l'orthèse : ne pas utiliser de crème ou de pommade
dans la zone d'utilisation du produit, risque de dommage du matériau
Instruction d'application
Pour poser l'orthèse, faites-la passer par-dessus le poignet et positionnez le
pouce dans l'orifice du pouce. Fermez maintenant la fermeture circulaire sur
le pouce, puis la fermeture large sur le poignet. La fermeture Velcro permet
de régler de façon continue le niveau de rigidité.
Retirer
Pour retirer le bandage, ouvrez les sangles circulaires et détachez l'orthèse
de pouce.
