Pic. 1: Wheel assembly
mounted on the frame
Function description
Adjusting the height of the wheels
To adjust the height of wheels, remove the height adjustment bolt, slide the inner wheel assembly tube to match
one of the holes in the frame and fit the bolt through them. There are 3 height settings in steps of 2,5 cm, only the
lowest one using the top hole.
WARNING! All 4 wheels should be adjusted to the same height.
Usage of wheel brakes and 24" wheel brakes
To lock the wheel brakes press down on the pedal on the wheel assembly until it locks and repeat for the other
wheels. To unlock the pedal brakes, raise the pedal up with the tip of the foot and repeat for the other wheels.
To apply the 24" wheel brakes push the brake levers towards front of the chair. To release brakes pull the lever
towards back of the chair.
WARNING! Always engage the brakes when a user is sitting down on or getting up from the chair, leaving the chair
with a user in it, or putting the chair away, especially on slopes.
WARNING! The warnings above apply to the 24" wheel brakes! 24" wheel brakes (accessory) must both be engaged
when the chair is in a stationary use. They may not be used to brake while driving.
Adjusting the height of the seat
The seat height is dependent on height setting of the wheels. To adjust the seat height, change the height of the
wheels.
Using the armrests
The armrests can be easily lifted up and pushed back down. This feature can help make it easier for the user to get
in and out of the wheelchair. Raising the armrests makes it easier to perform personal hygiene while showering.
WARNING! Never leave chair unattended with armrests lifted when there is someone in it.
Footrest functionality
• To adjust the length of the footrest, loosen the footrest adjustment bolt. Move the footrest to the desired length
and tighten the bolt. Repeat for the other footrest.
• To remove the footrest, pull the footrest detaching lever. The footrest can be removed when turned away by
pulling it upwards. Repeat for the other footrest.
• The footplates can be folded upwards.
• These features can make it easier for the user to get in and out of the wheelchair, while also allowing for easier
personal hygiene while showering.
WARNING! Never move the chair with footrests detached when the user is on it. Always put user's feet on foot
plates when moving the chair.
WARNING! The length of footrests must be adapted to the height of the user.
NOTE: The length of footrests is correctly adjusted when while sitting the user sits on the wheelchair, the thighs rest
flat on the seat and both feet rest on the footplates.
Using the sanitary bucket
The commode wheelchair is designed for people who have difficulty using regular toilets.
To use the bucket of the Commode and shower chair, remove the seat cover and take the bucket out of the chair.
Remove the bucket lid and put the bucket back into the chair. After use remove the bucket from the wheelchair
again and put the lid back on the bucket. Clean the bucket before another use. Put the bucket back into the chair
and put the seat cover back in the seat.
Safety belt and safety bar (accessories)
To attach the safety belt, make sure it has loops at each end, remove the backrest and put the loops around the
ends of backrest's tubes. Fasten the loops and make sure the lock of the belt is facing foward and the belt isn't
tangled up. Attach the backrest back onto the main frame.
The safety bar is installed to the front of the armrests by removing the caps and removing the screws. Put the
assembly tubes of the safety bar into the armrests and secure them with the previously removed screws. The safety
bar is removed by pressing the buttons on it's assembly and pulling the bar out, and is inserted in reverse order.
