Assembly description
Put the main frame upside down on the floor. You'll
see four holes at the ends of vertical frame tubes.
Insert the wheel assemblies into the tubes and fix
them in desired setting using provided bolts, as
described in Function description section. Check if
they are attached correctly by trying to pull them out.
If they slide around, check that the bolt went though
both the frame and wheel assembly and tighten the
bolt again.
Put the frame on its wheels and lock the wheel brakes by pushing them down with the tip of a foot to make
further assembly safe.
Insert the backrest tubes into holes on the rear end of main frame. Tighten the knobs on both sides of the
chair and check that the backrest is stable.
Put the lid on the sanitary bucket and slide it into the guide rails under the seat from the rear of the chair.
Once the bucket is in place, put the removable seat cover on the seat.
Put the top end of the footrest into the hole in the front of the main frame, and turn the footrest towards the
front of the frame until it's locked. Unfold the footplate and repeat for the other footrest.
24" Rear wheels (accessory)
Detach the 2 rear standard wheels in an opposite way to the previous assembly instruction.
There are 3 height settings which consist of 2 adjecent holes. Match the wheel assembly with the 2 holes of
a desired setting and make sure the bearing housing is on the rear side of the frame (Pic. 1). Fix the
assembly to the tube by putting bolts through the assembly and tube, and tightening them together with a
washer and a nut. Repeat above steps for the other side of the chair.
Press and hold the quick release button located in the middle of the 24" wheel. Insert the wheel axle into the
housing on the assembly plate and release the button (Pic. 2). Always check if the wheels are attached
correctly by trying to pull them out. After wheel installation, put on the caps for the quick release buttons
(Pic. 3).
To take the wheel out remove the cap press the quick release button and pull the wheel out of it's housing.
After the assembly of the 24" wheels it might be necessary to readjust the height of the front small wheels
as described in Function description section. The seat always has to be parallel to the floor.
For the 24" wheels it is necessary to mount regular wheelchair parking brakes as wheels are not equipped
with their own brakes. The brake assembly consists of mounting bracket, Brake Mechanism and 2 fixing
bolts.
Insert the sliding profile of the brake in to the smaller cut out of mounting bracket. Put the mounting bracket
on the horizontal side frame tube. Move the sliding profile to a position where the friction pin almost touches
the tire (Pic. 4). Tighten the fixing bolts, so the brake is stable and fixed.
Repeat the assembly process for the other wheel.
