Via the SCART connection
Use a SCART to 2 x cinch adapter (not supplied) to connect the SCART connec-
tion on your LCD TV to the sound inputs on your soundbar/surround sound sys-
tem.
7.4. Connecting a DVD/Blu-Ray player
There are a number of different options for connecting a DVD/Blu-Ray player:
With a HDMI cable
If the DVD/Blu-Ray player has a HDMI output, make the connection using a
HDMI cable. No additional cable is required for sound transmission.
With a YPbPr adapter (YUV)
If the DVD/Blu-Ray player has YUV outputs (Y Pb Pr), it is recommended that you
use a cinch cable and the supplied YUV adapter cable (3 x cinch (green/blue/red)
to a 3.5 mm jack) to connect it to the YPbPr connection on the LCD TV.
NOTICE!
Use only the YUV adapter supplied.
In order to transmit the sound, connect the supplied AV adapter to the AV con-
nection and insert a stereo cinch cable (red and white plugs) into the correspon-
ding connections on the adapter and the audio outputs on the device.
NOTICE!
Use only the AV adapter supplied.
With a SCART cable
Connect a DVD/Blu-Ray player to the SCART socket using a SCART cable. No ad-
ditional cable is required for sound transmission.
