5 Instrument Calibration

Delivery comprises a calibration standard and test standard for color and gloss. Each tile
has a dedicated serial number matching your instrument. Use these tiles to check if instru-
ment is measuring correctly. The instrument will guide you through the procedure.
1. Select Configuration > Calibration.
2. Tap on Perform Diagnosis for Color and Closs.
3. Place color test standard on measurement aperture and confirm with checkmark or
press button Operate.
4. Place gloss test standard on measurement aperture and confirm with checkmark or
press button Operate.
5. If diagnosis passes, instrument can be used to measure.
6. If diagnosis fails, tap on Calibrate on white standard and follow instructions.
NOTICE
To monitor your test equipment: Tap on Add to standard list to store it as a test stand-
ard in the instrument memory und measure it in regular intervals.
