8 Fluorescence and Jetness Measurement

Fluorescence
Go to Configuration > Measurement Parameters > Fluorescence and activate:
• ΔFl: Indicates whether and how much fluorescent energy is emitted.
• ΔE
The status of the fluorescence detection is signaled via an acoustic and a visual signal. For
the visual signal the status LED in the button Operate is used:
• Status LED = Blue: Fluorescence has been detected.
• Status LED = Pink: Fluorescence exceeds predefined limit.
Jetness (Pro version)
Go to Configuration > Measurement Parameters > Jetness indices and activate:
• M
• Mc: Jetness determines the color depending black value.
• dM: Undertone determines the absolute contribution of hue.
Activation changes to a different measuring range in the instrument - which is valid only
for samples with deepest black.
To measure gray samples deactivate the jetness indices M

range.
