Make sure that the load carrier's foot is
properly positioned to match the curvature
of the roof edge. If it isn't in full contact
with the top side of the roof, then it's
possible to undo the bolts on the lower
side of the load carrier. You can then adjust
the foot several millimetres to fit along the
contour.

Make sure that the pin is located in the rivet
nut.
When you tighten a bolt on the clamp bracket,
tighten the corresponding bolt on the other
side.
Tightening torque is 5 Nm.
Reinstall the covers on the load carrier clamps
and turn the lock key (1) 90° clockwise.
