For environmental protection it is necessary to remove
the battery from the appliance after its service life and the
battery and the appliance must be disposed of safely using
special collection networks. Ask for more details at the
local authority or at the local waste collection site.
Removing the battery
Remove the battery from the appliance only when
completely discharged. The procedure for removing the
battery is shown in Fig. 6:
1. Using a screw-driver, remove the screw cover and
loosen the screw.
2. Hold the brush body (A) upside down, press the
charging part (see arrows in the figure) and remove the
2 hooks which hold the inner components of the brush
body (A).
3. Remove the battery from the compartment using
a screw-driver.
