Connecting the vacuum side
1. Degrease the connection flange.

5.5 Using splinter shield
Pfeiffer Vacuum centering rings with splinter shield in the vacuum flange protect the roots pump against
foreign matter from the vacuum chambers. The pumping speed is reduced according to the passage
