3. INSTALLATION
POSITIONING THE STARTER
When using the starter, position it on a
horizontal, flat and stable surface.
4. OPERATING INFORMATION
4.1 How to use the starter:
always in the order given below!
Always prevent the black and red clamps
from touching each other or a common
cable!
- Make sure that the vehicle or boat to be
started is switched off (switch or ignition
key in the OFF position).
- Connect the red clamp POS. (+) to the
battery terminal POS. (+), then connect the
black clamp NEG. (-) to the vehicle chassis or
the battery terminal NEG. (-).
WARNING: failure to follow these
rules may compromise the
operating life of the device:
- Turn the vehicle ignition to the start
position for no more than 3 seconds.
- If the vehicle or boat does not start, wait
at least 15 seconds before trying again.
- If the vehicle or boat still does not start,
wait at least 2 minutes before trying
again.
After a successful start, with the engine
running, follow the sequence of instructions
below with great care:
- Disconnect the black clamp (negative) from
the vehicle.
- Disconnect the red clamp (positive) from
the vehicle.
- Remove the starter cable connector from
the starter
- Replace the cables and the starter in their
seats inside the case.
It is highly recommended to recharge the
starter as soon as possible.
4.2 Using the starter as a power and/or
charging device
4.2.1 Outputs using USB port type A
- Press the ON key (Fig. A-10, B-10 according
to the model).
- The charging status will be displayed (Fig.
A-11, B-11) and the outlet USB ports will be
enabled.
- Use the output cable (Fig. A-4, B-4) to
power/charge the equipment with a USB
port type C (Quick Charge enabled).
- Insert the USB A terminal of the cable into
the output port on the starter (Fig. A-7, B-7);

meticulously,
- Insert the other appropriate terminal into
the device to be powered/charged.
4.2.2 Output via USB port type C (1750 XC
model only)
- Press the ON key (Fig. B-10) to enable the
output port.
- Use an appropriate USB C output cable (not
supplied) to power/charge the equipment
equipped with USB C inlet that require PD
(Power Delivery).
- Insert the USB C terminal of the cable into
and
the output port on the starter (Fig. B-6)
- Insert the other USB C terminal into the
device to be powered/charged.
4.2.3 12V-10A output (1250 - 1500 models
only)
- Use an output cable with 5.5mm cylindrical
connection (non-standard accessory) to
power/charge the equipment with 12V
input.
- Insert the power terminal in the output port
on the starter (Fig. A-6).
- Insert the other appropriate terminal into
the device to be powered/charged.
4.2.4 Wireless charge (1750 XC model only)
- Press the ON key (Fig. B-10) to enable the
wireless charge.
- Position the smartphone above the
highlighted zone (
B-12) and check charging has begun
(charge symbols on the display of the
smartphone); if necessary, move the phone
above the highlighted zone of the DRIVE
until the point is found where wireless
charging takes place.
4.3 Using the LED lights
Press and hold the ON button (Fig. A-10, B-10)
for a few seconds to enable the continuous
LED light.
Then, press in sequence the key to change the
operating mode and obtain:
- very intense light;
- emergency signalling;
- switch off light.
5. RECHARGING THE STARTER
Important! To achieve maximum battery
performance, always charge before use,
then after every time it is used and, in any
case, at least every 3 months.
It is however possible to charge the unit on
the vehicle:
- connect the jack adaptor (Fig. A-12, B-13) to
the cigarette light socket of the vehicle;
- connect the starter charging port (Fig. A-5,
B-5) to the jack adaptor using the cable in
Fig. A-4, B-4.
