Risk of fatal injury from high voltage when current transformers
disconnected!
In transformer connected meters, the high voltage generated on a
disconnected current transformer can cause fatal injuries, and will
destroy the current transformer.
Before disconnecting the current paths, short-circuit the secondary
circuits of the current transformer at its testing terminals.
ATTENTION
Damage through overload and arcing!
Fuse-protect transformer connected meters in the voltage circuit
with a pre-fuse of ≤ 6 A in accordance with the applicable technical
regulations.
