7.11 Alarm clock
Setting the alarm
You can set two different alarm times; "A1" for alarm time 1 and
"A2" for alarm time 2 appear next to the time in the display.
• Brie y press the SET button (A) to switch to "A1" alarm mode.
• Press and hold the SET button (A) for around 3 seconds.
• The hour display starts to ash.
• Press the  (B) or  (C) arrow key to select the hour of the
alarm time and con rm the selection by pressing the SET
button (A).
• The minute display starts to ash. Repeat the procedure for the
minutes of the alarm time.
• Con rm the selection by pressing the SET button (A).
Press the SET button twice in quick succession to enter the "A2"
alarm mode.
Repeat the above steps to set the alarm time.
Deactivating / activating the alarm
Press the ALARM button (D) repeatedly to activate or deactivate
the alarm. The alarm clock is activated/deactivated in the following
order: Alarm 1 active  Alarm 2 active  Alarm 1 + 2 active 
Alarm 1 + 2 deactivated.
An active alarm clock is shown in the display with the alarm
symbol (4).
Note – Snooze function
• During the alarm signal, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (29)
to activate the snooze function. The alarm signal is interrupted
for 5 minutes and then triggered again.
• The snooze function can be terminated by any button except
the SNOOZE/LIGHT button.

8. Backlight
• In power unit mode, press the Snooze / Light button (29)
repeatedly to toggle between the 3 lighting stages (bright,
dimmed, off).
• In battery mode, press the Snooze / Light button (29) to
illuminate the display for around 10 seconds.
9. Care and maintenance
Note
Disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning and
during prolonged periods of non-use.
• Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly damp cloth and
do not use any harsh cleaners.
• Ensure that no water is able to enter the product.
