When ambient temperature lower 5℃ running cooling mode must be charged antifreeze. Refer to upper parame-
ters for the charged volume.

8.4 Anti-freezing protection

1. In Off or Standby status, enter anti-freezing protection if satisfy the following conditions:
a) When environment temperature ≤ 4 °C, and inlet water temperature ≤ 6 °C for 3 minutes, enter first stage
anti-freezing; when detect the circulating pump power off continuously for over 30 minutes continuously,
force to run the circulation pump for 3 minutes, then stop, run periodically. Exit first stage anti-freezing till inlet
water temperature ≥ 8 °C, or environment temperature ≥ 6 °C for 3 minutes.
b) When environment temperature ≤ 4 °C, and inlet water temperature ≤ 4 °C for 3 minutes, enter second
stage anti-freezing; and force to run heating, exit the second stage anti-freezing till inlet water temperature ≥
15 °C or environment temperature ≥ 6 °C for 3 minutes.
2. If environment temperature sensor faults, the anti-freezing is decided by inlet water temperature only; if inlet
water temperature sensor faults, the anti-freezing is decided by environment temperature only, and enter first
stage anti-freezing only.
3. If there is fault causes compressor can't start, enter first stage anti-freezing only, can't enter the second stage
anti-freezing.
4. If both environment temperature sensor and inlet water temperature sensor fault, when outdoor coil tempera-
ture ≤ 0 °C, enter first stage anti-freezing only, exit anti-freezing when outdoor coil temperature ≥ 2 °C, after
enter standby status, enter anti-freezing, if outdoor coil temperature faults, don't exit anti-freezing.
5. If environment temperature sensor, inlet water temperature sensor and outdoor coil temperature all fault, when
outlet water temperature ≤ 4 °C, enter first stage anti-freezing, controller display error code, and force to run
circulating pump till outlet water temperature ≥ 6 °C to exit anti-freezing, and detect every 5 minutes to run
circulating pump.
6. If there is fault of water flow switch, can enter first stage anti-freezing only, can't enter second stage anti-free-
zing; after enter anti-freezing, if there is fault of water flow switch, then display error code, still run circulating
pump according to anti-freezing logic.

8.5 De-Frosting Conditions

1. When -5°C≤Ta<5°C, Tc<(Ta-b22) for 3 minutes, accumulated running time of compressor>45+b20 minutes,
enter defrosting.
2. When -12°C≤Ta<-5°C, Tc<(Ta-b23) for 3 minutes, accumulated running time of compressor>45+b21 minutes,
enter defrosting.
3. When Ta<-12°C, Tc<(Ta-7) for 3 minutes, accumulated running time of compressor>75 minutes, enter defrosting.
4. The first time enter heating mode, Ta<5°C, Tc<(Ta-9) for 3 minutes, accumulated running time of compressor>20
minutes, enter defrosting.
5. When Ta<3°C, Tc<(Ta-5) for 3 minutes, accumulated running time of compressor>120 minutes, enter defrosting.
Exit defrosting conditions:
1. Defrosting time>b24
2. Tc>b25
3. Tc>b26, for 80s
