4. Setting of the end positions

4.1. Delivery status

In the SELVE delivery status no end positions or transmitters are learnt into the motor!
In this state, the drive can be operated in deadman's operation only. Safety functions
such as obstacle detection are deactivated at delivery and will only become active after
both end positions are set.
The SEL Plus and SES drives are in automatic setup-mode.

4.2. Setup functions

The end positions setting of a SELVE drive is possible via:
• any standard switch (in automatic mode)
• the setting switch for electronic drives (item no. 290103, manual setup-mode)
When connecting the setting switch for drives, consider the following:
Important! Risk of injury through an electric shock!
Connection only when de-energised!
Warning!
The 4 wires in the setting switch cable must be connected to the drive wiring cable
according to their colours.
PE = yellow-green
N = blue
UP = brown
DOWN = black
LED indicates connection in correct phase sequence
Pushbutton E is the setting pushbutton
Pushbutton for moving the motor up and down
