7. Press the ON/OFF button to power the device. The power LED lights up white.
8. To deinstall the M.2 SSD please press the ON/OFF button again to power off
the IB-180MC-C31 (power LED red).
Please await the end of read/write operations before switching off the device to
avoid data loss.

• Please await the end of read/write operations before disconnecting the device
to avoid data loss.
• A new SSD must first be initialised, partitioned and formatted by the operating
system to be recognised by the system.
• If the drive is not recognised instantly by the operating system, please check:
if the driver software is installed (USB).
if the SSD is initialised, partitioned and formatted.
• The full USB 3.2 (Gen 2) transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s can only be achieved
with a compatible USB 3.2 (Gen 2) port on your host computer. The IB-180MC-
C31 is downwards compatible with USB 3.2 (Gen 1) and USB 2.0.
*USB 3.2 (Gen 2) is equivalent to USB 3.1 (Gen 2) and USB 3.1.
