6.2 Important Operating Instructions For The Hydraulic Cylinder Power 25
a) Working with round punch tools with 9.5 mm /3/8" bolt
Proceed as described under 6.1, but before mounting the 9.5 mm / 3/8" bolt, screw the reduction sleeve (item 4) completely into the hydraulic cylinder.
CAUTION: It is imperative to put on the support washer (item 5), before mounting the die!
b) Working with round punch tools with 19 mm /3/4" bolt
Proceed as described under 6.1.
CAUTION: It is imperative to use the punching tools up to 40.5 mm / 1.59" with the support washer (item 5).
c) Working with shaped punches (square, rectangular etc.)
Proceed as described under 6.1.
Caution:
Shaped punches with 9.5 mm / 3/8" bolt:
- It is imperative to put on the support washer (item 5), before mounting the die!
- The largest diameter of the bolt must not exceed ø 19 mm / 3/4".
Shaped punches with 19 mm / 3/4" bolt:
- cannot be used
Shaped punches with 25mm / 63/64" bolt:
- The largest diameter of the bolt must not exceed ø 44 mm / 1.73".

The possible dimensions of the cut-outs to be punched are dependent on the following factors:
Type of material/thickness of material/pressure of the pump/bolt diameter and stability of the punching tool.
It is not possible to list all possible combinations.
If you consider the following specifications, you will be within the permissible performance range of the device.
Possible cross-sections when using a 19 mm / 3/4" bolt in combination with the following materials:
sheet steel 3 mm, stainless steel 2 mm and aluminum 4 mm
- Round punches up to ø 135 mm / 5.31"
- Square punches up to 103 mm / 4.05"
- Rectangular punches with a diagonal of 145 mm / 5.71"
Possible cross-sections when using a bolt with M25 thread on both sides:
a) Sheet steel 3 mm, stainless steel 2 mm and aluminum 4 mm
- Round punches up to ø 185 mm
- Square punches up to 140 mm
- Rectangular punches with a diagonal of 195 mm
b) Sheet steel 2 mm:
- Round punches up to ø 245 mm
- Square punches up to 200 mm
- Rectangular punches with a diagonal of 280 mm

8. Maintenance / Cleaning

• Clean the device in regular intervals.
The intervals depend mainly on work and environment conditions
Do not use aggressive cleaners
• Before punching, check the equipment visually
• Dispose of oily rags and hydraulic oil as hazardous waste.
