Have installation and all repairs to the ConnectModule

performed only by an authorised specialist dealer.
Specialist knowledge is required here. Incorrect installa-
tion may mean that the ConnectModule or eBike can no
longer be operated in a legally compliant manner.
Remove the battery from the holder before perform-

ing any work on the eBike!

Actions displaying this pictogram must be per-

formed with a torque spanner and the screw must
be tightened to the specified torque, otherwise
there is a risk that the components will be dam-
aged.
Intended Use
The ConnectModule is compatible with Bosch eBike com-
ponents of the system generation the smart system.
These installation instructions describe only the direct in-
stallation of the ConnectModule on the BDU33xx and
BDU37xx drive units. Further installation positions and the
associated installation documentation can be taken from the
documents of the bicycle manufacturer.
Note: For a bicycle-specific drive unit cover that doesn't
come from Bosch eBike, you must check whether it can con-
tinue to be used or whether it has to be replaced. The cover
must not rub against the ConnectModule and should be
made from one of the following plastics: PA, PA/ASA, ABS,
PC or PC/ABS. Covers made of metal or carbon fibre or cov-
ers with metalliferous varnishes are not suitable.

– Torque wrench up to 5 Nm
