Setting the Mitre Angle

The circular saw can be swivelled between 0° and 45°:
1. Lay the machine on the side in such a way that it rests on the blade guard.
2. Loosen the locking knobs (7 and 13) and adjust the base plate (11) until
the desired angle is shown on the scale (8).
3. After that, retighten the knobs (7 and 13).
Please Notice: When making mire cuts, the cutting depth will differ from
the value displayed on the scale (16).
4. The 90° position can be readjusted with the angle adjustment screw (10)
from under the saw in necessary.

Dust Extraction

1. Always connect the circular saw to a dust extraction device. Make sure
you are using a dust extraction device which is suitable for use with power
tools.
2. A suitable extraction device with a hose diameter of between 32 and
34 mm can be attached to the extraction flange (18).
Notice: The larger the hose diameter is, the smaller is the risk of clogging.

Preparation

Before each use check the proper function of all installation fixtures of the
circular saw and only use the circular saw if
everything works properly.
Attach the work piece in such way that it
cannot move or bend during work. Line the
work piece respectively.

Working correctly with the Circular Saw

Always hold the circular saw with both hands at the handles (3) and (17).
Always guide the circular saw forward. Never draw the circular saw back!
Place the circular saw with the front part of the base plate (11) on the work
piece. Guide the circular saw only against the work piece during operation.
With the correct forward speed you prevent overheating of the saw blade,
