Important information

Installation and/or service work is only to be performed
by qualified and trained Service personnel from Robert
Bosch GmbH or organizations commissioned by Robert
Bosch GmbH. No warranty claims will be accepted
if devices have been opened or modified by non-
authorized persons.
Electrical systems and equipment are only to be started
up if they are in proper working order (refer also to
test system information 0108_084). This requirement
is deemed to have been fulfilled if compliance with the
rules of electrical engineering practice is ensured on
completion of modification or service work (original
inspection). This involves the performance of testing of
the type and extent specified in the rules of electrical
engineering practice (in Germany e.g. BGV A3). In
Germany, the nature and extent of testing are specified
in VDE 0701/0702 Part 1. The corresponding legislation
of the country concerned must be observed.

Heed the handling instructions relating to ESD when
working on an open device. The instructions can be
found in EDIS under 'BOSCH TEST EQUIPMENT\

SAFETY'.
