Move the scale, and check that the amplitudes A and B (see Fig. 3-16) of the Lissajous' figure meet or
exceed the reference values (A/B signal output type: Amplitude 0.7 Vp-p, Analog output type: Amplitude
0.3 Vp-p) over the entire length.

The center of the Lissajous' figure is 2.5 V.
If the reference value outputs are not obtained even after repeating the adjustment, recheck the attachment
surface accuracy (see page 3-3) for the scale and detector head and that there are no foreign objects
adhering to the scale surface.

3-6. Completion of Mounting and Adjustment

. Secure the cable with the supplied cable clamp and pan-head screw (M4 x 8).
. Before using the scale to perform measurements, allow the scale to set for about three hours after mounting
so that the secured parts can stabilize and the ambient temperature around the scale can stabilize.
