Before first Use

Remove the multi tool and all accessories out of the packaging and check all
parts for damage in transit. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
There is risk of suffocation!
The multi tool may only be used for dry sanding work. The machine is suitable for
working on wood, metal, plaster, plastic and filler surfaces. The sanding paper
pads can also be used for removing rust, old paint and intermediate sanding.
The round and straight cutting blades are suitable for cutting wood and plastics.

Charging the Battery

Charge the battery before first use.
In contrast to Ni-Cad or MH batteries Lithium-ion batteries do not have a memory
effect. The capacity of other batteries decreases steadily but the capacity of
Lithium-ion batteries does not decrease. The capacity remains constantly until the
electronics interrupts discharging.
Regardless of the charging condition, the battery can be charged at any time
without damaging the cells.
If desired you can order a second battery
under the article no. 97 64 31.
1. Connect the power cord of the charger
with a wall socket and the connecting
socket (6) of the battery.
2. The control LED (5) lights up red and
indicates that the battery is charged.
When the control LED turns green it
indicates that the battery is fully charged.

Inserting and Removing the Battery

1. Slide the battery into the bottom side of the multi tool until the clips of the
releasing buttons (3) lock audibly. Make sure the battery can be inserted
easily. Do not force the battery. The battery fits only in one position into the
multi tool.
2. For removing the battery, first press both releasing buttons inwards and pull
out the battery.
