Setting the Heating Break
If the heating is being switched off for summer time, you
can save battery power. This involves opening the valve
up fully. The weekly limescale protection function remains
activated.
1. Press the menu button until the word Manu is dis-
played.
2. To activate the heating break function, turn the setting
wheel as long as ON appears on the display.
3. To deactivate the heating break, quit the manual
operation Manu or turn the setting wheel anticlockwise.

Setting the Frost Protection Mode

If you do not want to heat up a room, you can use this
function.
The valve will be closed and it will only open again if there
is a risk of frost. The weekly factory adjusted limescale
protection remains activated.
1. To activate frost protection mode, turn the setting wheel
counter clockwise during manual operation Manu until
OFF appears on the display. Additionally the display
illumination turns off after 1 hour to save battery power.
As soon as further settings are made, display illumina-
tion will be activated again.
2. To terminate frost protection mode, quit manual
operation Manu or turn the setting wheel clockwise.
