Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
Please read the manual before operating the unit. Keep
the manual handy so you can refer to it at a later date!
Do not operate the unit if it does not work correctly or
has been dropped.
The unit is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with
the unit.
The unit is designed for household use only.
Do not allow liquids to enter the housing.
Do not expose the unit to extreme high or low tempera-
tures, strong vibration or high levels of humidity and
avoid strong mechanical stress. Do not expose the unit
to dirt, extreme heat or strong magnetic fields.
Do not use abrasives or aggressive chemicals to clean
the unit. Use a dry or moist cloth at the utmost. If the
LC-Display discolours under pressure, this is no reason
for concern. The discoloration will disappear after some
time.
Should the unit become damaged do not use it and
have it repaired by a professional or contact our cus-
tomer support department. Do not disassemble the unit
or try repairing it yourself.
If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove
the batteries.
