The programme duration is first shown on the display. During the cleaning/
sterilisation process, a dashed rectangle is displayed and the dashes light up
continuously.
 Press the Start/Cancel button to start the programme.
The programme ends automatically after the time indicated in the table.

9.4. Cleaning

 Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
 Clean the appliance after each use.

9.4.1. Emptying the mixing chamber

Using too many ingredients or a power cut may cause preparation to be interrupted
after water has been added to the mixing chamber (10).
 Press the Speed button to chop the ingredients.
The ingredients are dispensed into the waste container (6). The appliance then
starts the automatic cleaning programme (see "9.1. Automatic cleaning" on page
230).
 Empty the waste container when automatic cleaning has finished.
9.4.2. Cleaning the grinding chamber after dry grinding
Remove residues after dry grinding from the inside of the grinding chamber and
the grinding chamber lid (25) with warm water and washing-up liquid after each
use. Wipe the parts dry immediately. Do not clean the grinding chamber (26) with
sharp or hard brushes, abrasive cleaners or corrosive liquids (such as petroleum
solvents and acetone).
9.4.3. Cleaning the mixing chamber lid
 Clean the overflow sensor on the inside of the mixing chamber lid with a soft,
slightly damp cloth.
 Remove the steam outlet (2) from the mixing chamber lid (1).
