räts ein Altgerät zurückgegeben wird.
Dies gilt auch bei Vertrieb unter Verwendung von Fernkom-
munikationsmitteln, wenn die Lager- und Versandflächen für
Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte mindestens 400 m² betragen
oder die gesamten Lager- und Versandflächen mindestens
800 m² betragen, wobei die unentgeltliche Abholung auf
Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte der Kategorien 1 (Wärmeüber-
träger), 2 (Bildschirmgeräte) und 4 (Großgeräte mit mindes-
tens einer äußeren Abmessung über 50 cm) beschränkt ist.
Für alle übrigen Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte muss der Ver-
treiber geeignete Rückgabemöglichkeiten in zumutbarer Ent-
fernung zum jeweiligen Endnutzer gewährleisten; das gilt
auch für Altgeräte, die in keiner äußeren Abmessung größer
als 25 cm sind, die der Endnutzer zurückgeben will, ohne ein
neues Gerät zu kaufen.

General Power Tool Safety Warnings

Read all safety warnings, instruc-

tions, illustrations and specifica-
tions provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all in-
structions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-
operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cord-
less) power tool.
Work area safety
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark

areas invite accidents.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating a
u
power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Other persons and animals should remain at a dis-
u
tance of 3 metres or more when the machine is being
used. Dirt should never be blown in the direction of
bystanders.
Stay alert for hazards that cannot be heard when oper-
u
ating the leaf blower.
Be careful not to trip over the machine when placing it
u
on the ground.
The user is responsible for accidents or hazards occur-
u
ring to other people or their property.
Electrical safety
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded sur-
u
faces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerat-
ors. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your
body is earthed or grounded.
Do not expose the power tool to rain or wet condi-
u
tions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of
electric shock.
Avoid all bad weather conditions, especially when
u
there is a risk of lightening.
Personal safety
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common
u
sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a
power tool while you are tired or under the influence
of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inatten-
tion while operating power tools may result in serious per-
sonal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
u
protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask,
non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection
used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal in-
juries.
Wear suitable clothing, including long trousers. Do not
u
wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair and
